North East Comic Con debuts new location and thrives!

North East Comic Con has once again delivered a fun show for the fans. The only difference this time is the location. They debuted a new spot at the Hanover Mall event center in Hanover, Massachusetts. Whenever an event changes locations, you have to wonder if it`s going to do well. Well was an understatement as fans lined up from all over New England and literally kept coming in through out the entire day we were there. I spoke to some of the vendors and artists who all spoke very highly of North East Comic Con organizer Gary Sohmers. The artists i spoke with mentioned how busy it was and they seemed to like the new location a lot better.

There was something for everyone at this event this past February from collectibles and toys to cards and art. Famous artists lined the walls with all of their work on display and were even drawing up some new work on location through out the day. There was a Q&A session with WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley who also took photos with fans and signed autographs all day. Mick had a nonstop line all day drawing in fans from all over. His Q&A session was standing room only and a great listen hosted by super fan James York.

The legendary Batman and Robin (Adam West & Burt Ward) were also on hand with a massive turnout for them as they too signed autographs and took photos with the fans. The Bat bike and Batmobile were also on display to take photos with. Adam and Burt also took part in a 1hr Q&A session with the fans which was also standing room only.

Gary has announced that due to the success of the event, it will be returning to the Hanover Mall on the weekend of July 22nd-23rd 2017. The Hanover Mall in Hanover, Massachusetts is located on RTE. 3 at RTE. 53 with plenty of FREE parking. James Tolkan from back to the future among dozens and dozens of other films will also be on hand signing autographs and taking photos. All Axxess Entertainment will once again be there to cover all of the action!
