Waterman Fest Block Party a Success!

Whole foods market on the East side of Providence, R.I. (261 Waterman street) recently brought back it`s popular block party! Just a couple weeks ago was the first block party at Waterman street since 2011. This was an awesome event for the whole family. Over 40 vendors/suppliers came together to sample out to the public some of their best products they have to offer. Vendors included Grillo's Pickles, Fox Point pickle company, Health Warrior, Munk Pack, RIPE juice, Backyard Farms, BonnieVille`s cookies, Organic Girl salads, Olivia's salads, Rhode Island Omega 3 dressings, Biggest little popcorn company, Ducktrap, Three Twins Ice cream, Endangered Species chocolates, Unreal candy, Honest Tea, Essentia water, Native Waters, BOBO bars, Powell & Mahoney, Organic living superfoods, Epic bars, Mi Nina tortilla chips, Buckleberry foods, Raaka chocolate, Seven Stars Bakery, Nature's Way, Natural Factors, The Pizza Gourmet, Top this grilled pizza crusts, Bellicchi's Best Biscotti, MOJO cold brew coffee, Mocktails, Love Beets, Rhode Island Farming Turtle sprouts, Green Mission, Nuts N`More, Pain D`Avignon bakery, Dave`s Coffee, Dancing deer, Creminelli fine meats, Glee Gum, VerMints, Granny Squibb's iced teas, Red Jacket orchard juices and Cloumage!!

This was a great event for the Neighborhood as there was children`s activities, Grilling, Face painting, Live music courtesy of the Opus 3 jazz trio and even Balloon art courtesy of entertainer Ken Pepper Stott. There was even a special event in the cheese department where they cracked a wheel of Parm cheese! Some great prizes were raffled off thanks to Applegate for their donations. Also over $250 was raised through out the event for charity!

The next Waterman Fest Block party will be on Saturday August 6th from 2:00pm-7:00pm and will feature once again over 40 vendors/suppliers! This event will be taking place on 261 Waterman street in Providence, Rhode Island at Whole foods market (On the east side). For directions call 401-272-1690 / This event will be FREE to the public.
