Bill Diamond "The Legacy"

Bill Diamond may not be a household name, but his work is known by millions. Bill has been a puppet fabricator and performer for over 30 years and his work will forever be remembered by fans all over the world. Gremlins, Fraggle Rock, Sesame Street, The Muppets and Dark Crystal are just a few television shows and films that he's been apart of.

Bill worked with the one and only Jim Henson on Sesame street and several other projects for many, many years. Bill built and operated all of the puppets for the "Little shop of horrors" Road tours which have been seen worldwide while traveling since it began in the 1980s.

Bill has brought in several awards for his work over the years including Tele award, Aurora award, Rondo award and an Emmy award! Bill`s career has included television production, animation and even puppet creation for over 30 years. He has worked on Muppet shorts alongside the late great Jim Henson and classic Muppet movie "The Muppet Caper"

Bill worked on the show "Stuffy`s Place" in the 1970`s and was the one who created the Stuffin puppets in the late 70s. He also worked on "Bill Diamond`s land of the Moonshiners in the 80`s and created "Dr. Rock`s Dinosaur adventure" for FOX TV in the 90`s.

Bill travels from convention to convention with a fantastic display of his work and puppets for all to see. If you have a Comic Con in the area and see Bill listed as appearing, you don`t want to miss out as it`s even more amazing to see his stuff up close and personal.

We here at All Axxess Entertainment had the pleasure to get a VIP tour of his display at Rhode Island Comic Con earlier this month from one of Bill`s crew members and he took the time to explain to us in great detail what the journey has been like so far and some of the back story on a few of the puppets. I have included several photos that I took at Rhode Island Comic Con, Northeast Comic Con and Hartford ComiConn, so please enjoy!

Bill’s most recent accomplishments include creating the Tele and Aurora award winning “Monster TV Network” which reunites the classic horror monsters (in puppet form) in their very own show. He was also executive producer on the Rondo award winning “The Aurora Monsters: The Model Craze That Gripped The World” and the Rondo award nominated “Phantom of the Opera: Unmasking the Masterpiece”.

Bill will be appearing at Northeast Comic Con this weekend (December 3rd & 4th) at Shriners Auditorium in Wilmington, Massachusetts. Take this opportunity to come out and see his stuff in person and meet the man himself. I hear there will be a special Fraggle Rock display for all to enjoy!
