CONNECTICON 2016 brings in thousands!

For those of you who missed out on Connecticon 2016 in Hartford, CT missed one heck of a show. The Hartford Convention center filled up quickly with several thousand fans from all over. This may have been the most Cosplay involvement i have seen so far at a comic con. Vendors from all over filled the convention center with a variety of merchandise, stuffed animals, Anime and collectibles of all shapes and sizes. There was a huge gaming room filled with computers for gaming tournaments, table top games and even a full arcade on site!

Several celebrities were also on hand to sign autographs and take photos with the fans including Sean Astin (Goonies / Lord of the Rings), Michael Dorn (Worf from Star Trek next generation), Tom Kenny (Voice of Spongebob), Linda Larkin (voice of Princess Jasmine from Aladdin), Jess Harnell (voiceover actor), Nana Visitor (Star Trek Deep space 9),

John Rhys-Davies (Indiana Jones / Lord of the Rings), George NewBern (actor), Walter Koenig (Original Star Trek series) among many others!!

Tom Kenny who plays the voice of Spongebob was clearly the show stealer as he had the longest line and it was simply non stop the entire time. It was great to see how good he was with his fans. It was a pleasure meeting Sean Astin who also had a very big line and really took the time to speak to his fans and seemed to be enjoying himself.

Be sure to follow Connecticon @connecticonconvention and visit their website at connecticon.org

Book your hotel rooms now and start planning for next years event as they will be back on July 6th-9th 2017!
