Northeast Comic Con is a Wrap!

North East Comic Con is in the books! What a great event this was for the whole family. The event took place in Wilmington, Massachusetts at Shriner's Auditorium. This was a weekend full of celebrities, comics, collectibles and everything under the sun. This was my debut at this particular convention and I wasn't disappointed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The event was run smoothly which is always a plus. This was a great opportunity for fans to meet some of their favorite Artists and Comic creators in person and have that one on one experience that North East Comic Con offers.

Lets not forget all of the celebrities that were in attendance! Karyn Parsons (Fresh Prince fame) was in the house as was Micky Dolenz (The Monkees), Jon Walmsley (The Waltons), Barry Bostwick (Spin City), James Tolkan (Back to the Future), Chase Masterson (Star Trek), Reb Brown (Captain America) and a host of others. There were also movie and tv show related vehicles on hand including the very awesome " Lost in Space" Chariot which was certainly the star of the show!

This is the ONLY working replica in the world. WBZ radio personality Morgan White (The Morgan White Show) was on hand doing some trivia with the fans in which several prizes were on the line! I was happy to have finally met Morgan after speaking to him several times over the years via phone and being a guest on his show multiple times.

There were multiple Q&A sessions throughout the day. We had the honor of sitting in on two of them including an artist panel Q&A and a Micky Dolenz Q&A session. Great turnouts and gave fans the rare opportunity to interact with these personalities.

North East Comic Con will be returning to Shriner's Auditorium Saturday December 3rd and Sunday December 4th.
